I am 30 years old, my husband is 36. He has

I am 30 years old, my husband is 36. He has fathered two children in previous relationships (4 and 8 years). I got pregnant when she was 18 and had a termination. In the last 3 years I have had unprotected sex with my husband. For the first year they were not actively trying to become pregnant but knew that if we did, it would be a pleasant surprise. In the past two years we have been actively trying to get pregnant and have been unsuccessful. The first year we have sex as much as possible during the time he thought I was ovulating. The following year we went further and used the method of the basal body temperature and checking cervical mucus throughout the cycle. We have also purchased house kits ovulation detector. The one in which to urinate in a cup only rarely told me I was ovulating. The saliva test has never shown the ferning pattern that is supposedly when I am most fertile. My cycles have always been regular between 26 and 28 days. I also have a few small ovarian cysts (not been diagnosed with PCOS) and a small subserosal uterine fibroids, which all doctors who have spoken to say it is too small and in the wrong place because no problems.I smoked for 10 years and permanently quit last January (also have been 100% smokefree 9 months). My husband continues to smoke nominally. I am very concerned that it may be sterile on the basis of my previous dismissal, my ovarian cysts, fibroids me or my history of smoking. Oh, I forgot to mention that are important enough acne and facial hair, I hear may be related to PCOS, but this was ruled out my my doctor based on the small number of cysts.Based the length of time we have been trying to get pregnant, what are your recommendations regarding the next steps to be take. For example, because my husband has children who know, at least before, had viable sperm. Is this something that can change over the years and should not be tested Or if not tested, because you have children Are there blood tests that would have to determine the hormonal imbalances that may be contributing to my inability to conceive What else should be analyzed to determine the cause of our inability to conceive Thank you very much for the time and your help!
